Un PTC, o semiconduttore, è un componente elettrico a base ceramica con resistenza dipendente dalla temperatura che viene utilizzato come elemento riscaldante.
Gli elementi riscaldanti a filo resistivo si basano sulla tradizionale tecnologia di riscaldamento a filo e sono disponibili in una varietà di forme.
